What this site is, what it is not, and the limits of what you can rely on.
Editorial content is general information. Guides describe common practice and typical ranges. They are not technical, legal, tax or financial advice for your specific situation, and a decision that costs real money deserves advice from someone who has seen your actual project.
Prices and timelines are ranges, not quotes. Every figure on this site is an order-of-magnitude guide. Only a developer who has seen your requirements can quote you.
The matching service is an introduction. We introduce you to developers; we are not a party to any contract you sign with them, we do not supervise their work, and we do not guarantee their output, timelines or availability. Check references and agree the scope in writing before any money moves.
Third-party tools. Where a guide names a platform, host or plugin, that is a description at the time of the last review. Their features, prices and terms change without notice and are governed by their own agreements.
Accuracy and availability. We correct errors as we find them and re-date the affected guide, but we do not warrant that every page is complete or current, or that the site is available without interruption.
Content ownership. The text and design of this site belong to us. Quoting a passage with a link back is welcome; republishing whole guides is not.
